John, here are five ways to do your folders — from a foil or embossed logo on a solid green stock, to one- or two-color ink printing, to full-color edge-to-edge with room for a photo.
Option 1
Classic and professional. The folder itself is green, with your logo foil-stamped on the front cover.
Option 2
Printed edge to edge in full color, so the whole folder can be your green, with room for a full photo or picture.
Option 3
Same solid-color folder idea as Option 1, but the logo is pressed into the stock (raised, no foil or ink) for a subtle, tactile look.
Option 4
Your logo and copy printed in one PMS ink color on a white folder — clean and cost-effective when you don't need a flood of color.
Option 5
Same idea as Option 4, with a second PMS ink color for more brand flexibility (for example, black plus your green).
Options 1 (foil) and 3 (blind emboss) use a solid colored stock. Both are quoted on Forest Green felt. All stocks below are available for this folder style. Stocks at the same or lower price group as the quote are marked Included; higher-priced stocks are marked Additional price (ask for a revised total).
Foil for Option 1 comes in standard metallic colors (gold, silver, copper, and more) plus white, black, and a few non-metallics. Emboss (Option 3) needs no foil color.
Options 2, 4 and 5 print on white stock (full color, one-color ink, or two-color ink), so the stock-color chart above does not apply — color comes from the ink or artwork.
